After more than two decades of watching cycles turn, I have come to trust a simple discipline: read the business, not the ticker. Understand what it does, who needs it, and what could go wrong before forming a broader view of the business and its long-term potential.

This is commentary on method, not a recommendation. The point is not to predict the next move. It is to build the patience to let a good idea prove itself.
